Armies on Parade 2025

Armies on Parade 2025 is coming around in October. I’ve already committed to taking part, but have yet to finish. I’m going to keep a log of my progress from this point forward as I direct myself towards Armies on Parade, however there are still a few barriers in the way.

I’m nearly ready and one of the things I quickly realized was that I would constantly lose track of resources like YouTube videos, links to tutorials, links to information for AoP and shared information from ChatGPT.

That said; I have created this website as a way for me to log information about what I have created (to showcase my work), as a tool to hold resources related to projects I am working on (code, circuit boards, purchase lists, rule changes, lore building, army construction, diorama building, paint choices, etc..) in hopes that either this will help (or inspire) others who are looking to get into Armies On Parade as well.

For me Armies on Parade is an excellent excuse to devote my time and focus to something that I take pride in (miniature painting) and to zero-in on learning new skills and trying new things. I’m someone who sets their sights on making real things that are in my mind, and realizing those ideas can be challenging. However, as organized and disciplined as I can be I’m still human and need a place to keep a train of thought.

That’s where this blog will come in.

Here I will post:

  • Painting Tutorials that I have followed or am following
  • Results of miniature painting (Primarily Warhammer)
  • Modifications and kitbashing
  • Diorama Building
  • Music, Pictures, Movies that I used to draw inspiration from
  • Additional resource materials (Plasti-card, XPS Foam, Chinchilla Dust, etc.)
  • Techniques
  • Tool lists
  • And much more

It is my hope that while this information may be useful to some, it will be a resource I use to store for me.

Additionally; at the top of each post exists a QR Code, this is intended for me to print and attach to my AoP submissions as a record of my construction and building materials.

As part of this first post; I’d like to share a playlist I put on while I build my current Diorama. Later I’ll record in a new post progress photos and general construction as I am starting late in this process and logging what information I have will be time consuming.

For now; here is my playlist: The Khorne Ritual
